The primary objectives of the GCU Astronomy Club are to:

• To create a welcoming environment for members interested in Astronomy and Space Exploration
• To provide meaningful educational experiences related Astronomy and Space Exploration
• To provide both vocational and community service activities and opportunities to club members

We Accomplish these objectives by means of:

• Fun Astronomy and Space oriented games (like Space Jeopardy) at meetings
• Lectures and discussions around Astronomy, Space and topics and associated current events
• Stargazing and Astro-Photography activities
• Development and delivery of Education Outreach programs to K-12 students state-wide
• Vocational and service work opportunities using TREC’s spacecraft flight simulator Voyager
